Did you know…
There are countless unwanted animals in our community, putting an enormous strain our our shelter and only worsening the problems of stray and feral animals (especially cats).
AnimalSave is Nevada County’s longest-running animal rescue organization. We’ve been here, serving the community, for 50 years.
AnimalSave operates our community’s only low-cost spay and neuter clinic, which helps reduce the serious problem of pet overpopulation, along with ensuring that every animal is a wanted animal.
In 2025 alone, AnimalSave found forever homes for almost 200 dogs and cats, and spayed and neutered almost 1500 companion animals.
We’re here to serve and save the animals of our community . . .
