Thrifters' Paradise

AnimalSave Thrift & Treasures benefit store first opened on Colfax Avenue in September 1999 and moved to a location on Joerschke Drive in September 2002. The Thrift Store and AnimalSave's business offices moved to its current location at 520 E. Main Street in September 2006. Also, in 2014 the Book Nook opened and has become a favorite of book, music, and movie lovers. The Book Nook is warm and cozy and houses thousands of books, including popular, vintage, and rare books. It has a wonderful children's section that features books, movies, and games for the kids. Net proceeds from the thrift store and Book Nook benefit AnimalSave's programs. In 2014, AnimalSave Thrift & Treasures was expanded and renovated, and has become a popular resource for thrifters to find high quality and unique items at bargain prices.

Donations

Your gently-used seasonal clothing, books, jewelry, household items and other treasures are greatly appreciated. We are always in need of quality furniture and can accommodate pickup and deliveries. However, we cannot accept: Bowling Balls, Car Seats, Ceiling Fans, Computers and Related Hardware, Console TV Stereos,  Large Appliances, Magazines, Mattresses & Box Springs, Miniblinds, Speakers (large ones),  TVs and VCRs.

Volunteering

We are always in need of volunteers to help price items, cashier, stock clothing & books, etc. If you are interested in donating your time, please fill out the Volunteer Application.

EBay Sales

We occasionally have items listed on Ebay. If you're an Ebay'r, we can always use help selling on Ebay. Just fill out a volunteer application and send it to us.
